Description
This specialist rib was one of a series constructed for the hazards and weather of the North Sea Oil Fields to the highest of standards by Delta ARRC of Stockport. Built in 2004 to Lloyds standards. Capable of speeds of 35 knots and operation in up to 7m wave heights Built to UK Small vessel under 24m code Cat 1 regulations for up to 150 miles from safe haven. Originally designed for crew and 21 Survivors. Powered by two caterpillar C18 1000hp marine engines, that drive carbon fibre shafts and two Hamilton HM521s Jet Drives that deal with the self-righting design of the boat. Full navigational equipment duplicated on the bridge several times. Most other on-board equipment is duplicated for operational safety in the worst of conditions. Layout is upper large bridge with fully fitted crew seating. On the bridge level is a shower and heads compartment. Lower level is a large open area that was originally fitted as a hospital unit. This can be converted to accommodation/ passenger seating or many combinations. Full paper work/manuals and history come with the boat.
